RESEARCH ON THE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEM SAFETY COUNTERMEASURES
ABSTRACT
In world, vehicle traffic accidents attract more and more attention in order to decrease the vehicle crash accidents and minimize the risks of traffic injuries. As more and more families own their Private cars,the occupants’safety has been Paid more and more attentions of the parentsand the society. A lot of researches have revealed that the occupant restraint systems can offer the occupants effective protection. But the research on occupants’ safety and restraint systems just begin in our country. Resulting in the level of our vehicle occupant restraint system lower than the foreign. The focus of this paper is to identify ways to improve vehicle occupant protection in collisions, reduce injuries.
In this paper, on the seat belts, airbags and other passive safety facilities, carried out a detailed analysis and study, it is also integrated with the vehicle safety regulations and on the human head, neck, chest, and thigh, pelvis and other parts of the injuries was carried out analysis. Studies have shown that the collision process of the protection of the human body restraint system played a significant role, reducing the crew of fatal injury, so the research occupant restraint system, safety measures have a particular value. Following is the research work:
(1) Detailed analysis of the composition of the occupant restraint system and abroad of
the status quo, the occupant restraint system of evaluation criteria and the national regulatory requirements
(2) Study the damage mechanism on the dummy, summed up the analysis of C-NCAP
score calculation method, in-depth study to effectively improve vehicle occupant protection strategies.
(3) Using the MADYMO simulation analysis of dynamic response of the dummy.
Proposed vehicle occupant restraint system safety protection methods.
