Firstly, based on the theo- ries of b ig mass ratio TMD control, the dynam ic characteristics of the roof isolation structure are stud ied. Themain effects are gain and the logical system is set up. Secondly, isolation is controlled byMR damper to avoid the shor-t com ing that range of control is very narrow. The passive control and sem i-active control are adopted to mi prove the effect. F inally, the 3-degree of freedom roof isolation structurew ithM R damper is smi u lated. The results show that the scheme of roof isolation w ith MR damper is efficiency for reducing vibration of theMDOF structure.
