RPG/V程序员面试初级题288
⑴ How do ■ trim leading zeroes?
Is there a 巳IF to trim leading 0s off of a numeric field AND reduce the field size accordingly? i.e. a field with a value of 0000123451 want to print:’’value:
12345” instead of’value: 000012345” orHvalue: 12345”
Answer: Use a combination of %edit and %trim. The %edit BIF will edit your number any way you wish: suppress leading zeroes, add commas, etc.
The o/otrim BIF will strip the blanks off the front. Typical use for this is to insert a numeric amount into a message, like Your balance is $25.00”
%size gives me a compile time error on my D spec
