Expression of human beta defensing-2 andinterferon-gamma in lesions of condyloma acuminatum Abstract Objective To study the expressions of human beta defensing-2(HBD-2) and interferon-gamma(IFN-y)in the lesions of condyloma acuminatum,and to speculate the pathogenesis and prognosis of condyloma acuminatum. Methods Tissue specimens were collected from the lesions of 25 patients with condyloma acuminatum and 20 patients with psoriasis,as well as from the normal skin of 25 healthy controls.The specimen subjected to an immunohistochemical analysis for the detection of hbd-2 and IFN-y.We used as a
