Meanwhile, the hospital libraries also need to keep pace with the times, embedding the idea of think tank in the medical field, and optimizing the existing reference consultation service mode to cater for the needs of the development of the times. This article discussed the changes of think tank concept to the reference consultation services of hospital libraries in terms of service contents, service functions, service methods and service breadth, focused on technology, resources, services extracted from the mode building elements, and put forward that the optimized path of reference consultation service mode of hospital libraries based on think tank concept is that matching service based on user needs, the technical fusion of think tank service, the functional reorg
