Along with the diversity of aesthetic process, to bring the structural system and the complex local force trends have become increasingly prominent. Due to the local structure of uneven force and adverse structural measures which threaten part of the bridge and even endanger the overall structure. Therefore it is necessary to use the finite element analysis to make the force more clearly, and provide a solid foundation for the future design, operation and maintenance. This paper takes a semi-supported arch bridge as an example, according to the characteristics of semi-supported arch bridge, on the basis of integral bridge analysis, the paper worked on the local stress analysis of arch bridge. This paper expounds the concrete filled steel tube arch bridge calculation theory and finite element simulation method, on the basis of full bridge integral analysis of the Midas / Civil model, with space beam element to simulate cross beam, beam, longitudinal beam and arch rib in other components, has established the bridge space finite element model, extracted from a representative the combination of loads at the abutment corresponding internal force, which were loaded into one Midas / FEA model for local stress analysis. We can found that the whole bridge structure stress is reasonable by the model of the abutment stress and the unfavourable load combination arch axial force as well as the shear force and bending diagram. At the same time, we can found that the stress of the intersection on which the arch of the foot connected with the skewback is higher.
