It is eternal pursue to get victory over oneself for all human beings. Wheelchair Basketball, with the very lighting speed and superb driving technique, has an inexhaustible fascination and show the beauty of fighting and athletics by its challenge of technology and strength. Wheelchair basketball is becoming more and more popular and intense and the wheelchair is becoming more and more advanced along with its development. Wheelchair Basketball has been on the Paralympic Games Programme and improved a lot over the last decades and is becoming one of the favorite sports of spectators on Paralympic Games, because of its intense and exciting. There were 12 wheelchair basketball teams from five continents took part in the thirteenth Paralympic Games which was held in Beijing, 2008. China national Wheelchair basketball team had 5 group games and 2 qualifying games with teams from Britain, Israel, Australia, the United States, Brazil, South Africa and Sweden at group B. As the host of this Paralympic Games, China national wheelchair basketball team communicated with the strongest teams in the world at the biggest stage for the first time. China is the youngest one among all the teams. No matter technique and tactics or spirit, China national wheelchair basketball team made a real impression, besides, there were urgent problems to be solved.
