赣南师 赣南师范学院硕士学位论文 II II Abstract The residential houses in Chinas vast land is the most precious heritage of our nation. The Hakka residential house is an important part in the residential architecture culture of China, carrying the unique survival emotion of the Hakka’s. Zhoutian Ancient Hakka Village in Chengjiang Town in Xunwu County is approved the first batch of historical and cultural village by the Government of Jiangxi Province. The research on the architectural art of Zhoutian Village is significant in exploring the traditional Hakka residential houses in Gannan of Jiangxi, enriching the Gannan residential building research system and shaping the charms of Ganzhou city. This study takes the Zhoutian Ancient Hakka Village in Chengjiang Town in Xunwu County as a case, investigating more than ten remains of the historical constructions built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties there. Through the analysis and study of the settlement patterns, architectural forms as well as the decorative arts, the thesis makes generalization and conclusion of the architectural art of the ancient villages, and provides a good theoretical basis for the reinforcement and repair of the old buildings in Zhoutian Village. This thesis also takes the protection and the development mode into account and puts forward suggestions for its sustainable development according to the status quo. Moreover, by the investigation and study of the traditional buildings in Zhoutian Village, this paper offers a basis for reference in protecting and developing the ancient villages in Gannan Area in Jiangxi Province.
