桂西北地区石英斑岩特征与其与金矿成矿的关系
Abstract
The Carlin-type gold deposits in northwest of Guangxi province is considered as an
important of Carlin-type gold deposit concentration area of “Dian-Qian-Gui”. Northwest Guangxi
distributed several quartz porphyry veins such as Bama, Lingyun and Fengshan. Isotopic
geochronology study indicates that the Late Yanshanian period during which the quartz porphyry
formed matches the Ore forming age of Carlin type gold deposits. But the relationship between
gold mineralization and quartz porphyry remains controversial. In this paper, we obtained the
following main achievements and understandings, based on the studies of body morphology,
occurrence and characteristics of the quartz porphyry which were collected from different areas, as
well as major element, trace element, rare earth element and lead isotope geochemistry data
analysis.
There are frequent magmatic activities and large amount of magmatic rocks in the northwest
of Guangxi. The volcanic zone is chiefly composed of intermediate-basic volcanic rocks and
basic volcanic rocks. Acidic magma erupted and overflowed at early Triassic, middle Triassic,
forming very thick acidic volcano rock. After Late Paleozoic crust extension and fault depression,
basic magma raised through the crack of mantle. This process is the key feature of magma activity.
The Late Yanshanian quartz porphyries appear in Longtian, Lingyun, Bama, Longchuan and
Mount Feng uplift in the form of small rock body and dike. Its tectonic compression
