ABSTRACTAbstract ABSTRACT Abstract and modeling is a basic method of people to understand the world and to resolve the complex problem．Enterprise Modeling is a basic to understand enterprise and an impersonality demand to reconstruct enterprise．Whether the supervisor of enterprise or the developer of the management information system，construct the right enterprise model is the first step to succeed with the management information system．The traditional methods of constructing enterprise model have many disadvantages．In this article，based on a lot of practice in constructing the management information system we discuss a new method of constructing enterprise model naIned the Object Oriented Enterprise Modeling(OOEM)． ooEM introduces the idea of object oriented and the Unified Modeling Language into the domain of enterprise modeling．In this article，we firstly discuss the architecture of 00EM and the method of constructing model view，and then introduce a case about the GoldenCereal Co Ltd．and the GoldenCereal Logistics and Distribution management information system to discuss the application of OOEM in practice． OOEM defines five different views concerned with the enterprise： process，function，information，resources and organization．The process view describes the basic business processes required to achieve a particular enterprise objective，or the flows of actions within the enterprise and the principles of the underlying business processes．The function view describes the enterprise activities required to satisfy the objectives of the enterprise，these activities composing the business processes．The information view describes the information required by each function．The organization view is the description of the enterprise organizational structures，that is，the responsibilities assigned to individuals for functional and control structures，information，and —II resources．The resources．The resources view describes the resources and their relationship to funct
