Unceasing evaluative INTERNET bear tremendous amount of information to people, and also bring confuse. People imminently need a tool for query the information efficiency, for quickly acquire the literature what we required. As the practicability, Full-text retrieval technology becomes the basic technology of the information realm which includes Chinese information. Full-text retrieval is an important embranchment of modern information retrieval technology, is one of the key technologies of the search engine. In allusion to the tremendous amount of information in the INTERNET, design and implement an Full-text retrieval system which create index at the local disk, and query the data by the means of the Web. The system deeply research on Chinese full-text retrieval technology. In the field of full-text index based on word inverted table, an improved word-based Chinese inverted index structure is proposed which has a better performance than traditional approaches, and convenient for constructing, maintaining and updating index. The system presents a Chinese word segmentation system that uses improved source channel models of Chinese sentence generation. According to its characteristic, we design its corresponding optimized search method. Analysis shows that better dynamic performance and high indexing speed is possible using this structure. How to use new technique, optimize the structure of retrieval system, improve performance and efficiency, quicken search speed and adapt the development of current web is also discussed in the system. On the basis of the above works, a Web-based full-text retrieval system is designed and implemented. We can create the index at local disk and query the data form both local and remote.
