万方数据 万方数据 摘要 随着通信产业及其相关技术的快速发展，终端已成为移动业务不可或缺的组 成部分。由于终端服务和业务的增加，运营商和终端制造厂商迫切的希望提高终 端设备的远程管理能力。因此，作为移动终端管理的关键技术，FOTA 无线固件升 级应运而生。 基于移动开放联盟 OMA 的标准，本文对 FOTA 无线固件升级进行了系统的研 究。首先深入分析了移动开放联盟的标准以及终端管理的相关技术原理，接着透 彻地研究 FOTA 技术的实现机制、固件更新呼叫流程以及更新包更新下载机制， 同时重点阐述 FOTA 无线固件更新的实现原理以及更新升级过程。然后对基于 Red Bend 的差分包制作和升级测试相关流程进行设计和简化，进而大大的缩短了差分 包制作时间。最后，对无线固件升级在手机上的具体实践机制和相关流程进行分 析研究。 FOTA 无线固件升级完全符合开放移动联盟设备管理标准，它可以更新任何设 备操作系统或芯片组的全部固件。通过空中接口来实现手机远程管理和固件更新， FOTA 无线固件更新已广泛应用于各大项目，其高效率性和可定制性也受到用户一 致好评。 关键词：移动开放联盟 移动终端管理 无线固件更新 ABSTRACT With the fast development of the communications industry and the related technologies, terminal has becoming a more indispensable part for mobile services. The increasing of mobile terminal services and the business is pushing the mobile operators and mobile phone manufacturers to urgently improve their terminals remote managing ability. Consequently, as a key technology of the MDM (Mobile Device Management), FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) technology has emerged. Based on the OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) standards, the design and implementation process of FOTA is systematically introduced in the thesis. Firstly, the OMA standards and the principles of MDM are deeply analyzed. Secondly, around FOTA technology, the realization mechanism, call flow and download mechanism are investigated thoroughly. FOTA updating process and the key technologies of upgrade have also been studied in detail. Then, depended on technology provided by Red Bend, the manufacture and testing process of diff package are designed and simplified, and the time of making diff package has been greatly reduced. Finally, the specific practice process and relevant mechanism inside the phone of wireless firmware upgrade are expounded in the thesis. Fully compliant the OMA DM standards, any device operating system or chipset can be updated by FOTA. Through the air interface to remotely manage and update phone, FOTA has been applied widely in many projects, it has the features of highly customizable
