農村社區環境復育指標之研究-以螢火蟲為例  ?摘要（Abstract） 由於人類活動頻繁，農村環境產生許多破壞或污染，這些都將對生態環境造成立即性的負面影響；螢火蟲除了具有環境生態指標的意義，在生態與食物鏈亦扮演重要角色，若能復育成功就是環境污染情況獲得改善。本研究以何健鎔 博士提出「碎肉餵食法」為基礎，針對水質部分進行試驗，以山泉水為實驗組，自來水為對照組，分別進行水質監控，了解水質對於螢火蟲復育的影響；同時以營造螢火蟲自然棲地為目的，將實驗室內的螢火蟲復育轉移至農村中的自然棲地，觀測螢火蟲於自然棲地中的復育率及存活週期，期許能藉此增加農村生態的豐富性，提昇其生態性及觀賞教育價值，達到農村社區「生活」、「生產」、「生態」、「生命」並重的永續經營。 關鍵詞：螢火蟲、農村社區、環境營造 （Abstract） As a result of frequent human activities, many rural and farming ecologies have been heavily polluted or devastated. All these changes pose negative effects on the surrounding ecosystems. Fireflies are frequently used as an environmental index species as they play important roles in the ecosystem and the food chain. It is hypothesized that successful rehabitiation of the firefly may signify an improvement in the environment and habitat of this species. The current study adapted the “fresh meat rearing method” proposed by Dr. Ho Chien Jung. （Abstract） Water quality monitor of both mountain spring water and tap water were analyzed to understand the effect of water on firefly breeding and growth. The water quality assessment was based on the analysis of oxygen, pH value, and sulfite content. Firefly larva were first raised in the laboratory and later relocated to their natural habit in the rural areas. It is believed that through the study of firefly habituation and survival rate in their natural habitat, greater biodiversity in the rural ecology can be achieved. Consequently, it will raise the ecological and educational value of rural ecosystems.
