Encourage students to speak more and practice their oral English. Teaching aids blackboard pictures chalk PPT New words about jobs. (doctor, waiter, etc) Ask and answer questions. A: What does he do? B: He is a policeman. A:What’s her job? B: She is a doctor. What do you do? What does she /he do? What do you want to be? What does she /he want to be? Give students 1 minute to think about their dreams. Work in pairs and talk to each other about their dreams. Argue about which job attract students a lot. Section C ( thinking and practicing ) First step Second step Third step Play a game (guess the job) ◆ List some words about different jobs on the blackboard, then divide students into 4 groups, each group will have a volunteer to make a performance, then other three groups’ students should guess what’s his (her) job is as he (she) just performed? Write 2 dialogues contact with the title of this lesson (use new structures we have learned today) Development Practice Review and preview. basis To do a research : ask some ideas from a doctor( you want to be ), compare that if it is as good as their thinking. * * ppt * *
