摘 要
随着信息技术和计算机网络技术的迅猛发展,信息系统已进入社会的很多领域。从开发和运行模式来看,现代信息系统先后出现过主机终端模式、文件服务器模式、客户/服务器(Client/Server,C/S模式)和浏览器/服务器(Browser/Server,B/S模式)四种模式。其中较流行的客户/服务器和浏览器/服务器两种体系结构的硬件环境、安全要求、程序架构都有所不同。单一的客户/服务器模式系统或浏览器/服务器模式系统在开发、运行、维护方面都存在不足,高校实验室信息管理系统采用一种新型的客户/服务器与浏览器/服务器混合模式来实现,解决了用户分散和管理混乱的难题。
高校实验室信息管理系统的总体设计主要包括网络结构、功能结构和数据库。系统的C/S模式下的功能模块主要是实验室的内部管理,如设备的日常管理,而B/S模式下的功能模块主要是实验室各种信息的发布。校园网是系统实现的基础,网络安全对系统正常运行至关重要,入侵检测、漏洞扫描、物理隔离就是保证网络安全常用的方法。为保证数据库系统安全和提高系统运行效率,系统中还采用了多种关键技术如控制安全的加密算法、查询的优化技术、数据挖掘技术等。
系统开发工具采用面向对象的POWERBUILDER 8.0和ASP,SQL SERVER 2000作为后台数据库系统,运用POWERBUILDER 8.0中特有的数据窗口对象和数据管道技术对系统数据进行各种处理。开发后的系统具有操作简单、维护方便、功能齐全的特点。

ABSTRACT
Information system has come into some field in world with the development of information technology and computer network technology. Modern information system has early or late come by Host computer terminate mode, File server mode, Client/Server mode, and Brower/Server mode from exploiter and run mode. The modish Client/Server mode is different from Brower/Server mode on hardware environment, security requirement and program fabric. A kind of single Client/Server mode or Brower/Server mode has some insufficiency on the aspect of development, running and maintenance, so we will design and implement Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in a university based on hybrid mode of C/S and B/S, which solves the problem of user decentralization and management confusion.
The overall design of LIMS in college mainly includes network framework, function architecture and Database design. The main functional module based on C/S mode is the interior management of libratory for example equipment management, and the main functional module based on B/S mode is issuance all kinds of information of laboratory to outside.
