This article selects two cases, namely the first case of Shanxi Electricity Anti-monopoly Law Enforcement (hereinafter referred to as Shanxi Electricity Case) and the EU Commission of Synthetic Fibers (hereinafter referred to as Synthetic Fibers Case). Both of these cases involve horizontal monopoly agreements and defenses of overcapacity.
