AbstractGeography Abstract Geography Information System(GIS)is a new boundary science and widely used today．By using GIS technology as a platform,an overall analysis and study on assessment methods of quantity and quality of water resmnce and its sustainable ability with several measures Was approached in the paper．The main contents including：(1)By use ofthe GIS system,the characters of precipitation and quantity ofsurface water in the region and grid anatomy method Was studied．(2)Studies on quantity of groundwater and its dynamic varietional direction in the region with dynamic balance method
