Abstract The traditional manufacturing model only fits for one company in one area. Networked manufacturing extends the connection and cooperation of companies, and the gap between fields is broken, too. The companies’ cooperation will be setup and dismissed dynamically according to the demands of market. The goal of this thesis is to study and carry out a model of networked manufacturing management system to support distributed, dynamic, networked manufacturing, and to have a detailed and profound research on the key technique of the model. MVC is the main mode of designing distributed application. Improved MVC is carried out in this paper. In this architecture, EJB is used on model level and entity bean is used to connect databases. If the type of database is changed, there is only a little change in the program. The migration ability of the system is strengthened. On the basis of design mode, J2EE design mode is used in model level to give a common architecture. It increases the reusability, extensibility and portability. The networked manufacturing management system is designed and implemented to use the general frame. The use of general frame makes the development less difficult. In networked manufacturing environment, manufacturing application is composed of different nodes on the Web. Clients and servers are in different areas, so network security is becoming an important element. Access control is a basic technology in network security. The security service that J2EE provides bases on the role based access control. These methods dont encrypt password and identity, the target server is not authenticated, and the privilege is static. Therefore, in this paper, the task and role based access control (T-RBAC) is carried out. In this method, privilege is dynamic and changes according to the context. On the basis of this, a security model is put forward. In this model, security cookies are adopted, password and identity are encrypted and target server is authentic
