在英语中，用动词的不同形式来表示动作发生的时间或存在的状态。 时态（Tense） 一般现在时 Present Simple Tense ◆一般现在时的用法 (1)表示经常性或习惯性的动作或存在的状态。表示主语具备的性格和能力，主语的身份，喜好等。与often, always, usually, sometimes, once a week, every day, on Sunday, 等表示频率的副词或时间状语连用。 如：He is a student, and he likes maths. I often go to school by bike. (2)表示客观事实或普遍真理。 如：The earth goes around the sun. 地球绕着太阳转。 (3)在时间、条件等状语从句中，用一般现在时表示一般将来时。 如： If it rains tomorrow, we wont go to the park. 如果明天下雨，我们就不去公园了。 When I grow up, I will go to America. 等我长大后，我将去美国。 (4)在某些以here, there开头的句子中用一般现在时表示正在发生的动作。如： Here comes a bus. 公交车来了。 ◆一般现在时的构成 1. 用实义动词原形do或第三人称单数形式does。 Sometimes Lucy washes her clothes by herself.有时候露西自己洗衣服。 Tom often helps his parents do housework at home.汤姆在家经常帮助父母做家务。 2. 用be动词的一般现在时的三种形式:am; is ;are They are good friends. He is a smart boy. 3.用情态动词后加动词原形。 He can dress himself now. The girl may be a student. ◆一般现在时的构成 动词的变化：只有第三人称作主语时，动词才有变化；其余的作主语，动词保持原形。 动词原形变三单规则： a. 一般动词在词尾加s, He likes swimming. b.以字母s, x, ch, sh, o结尾的动词后加es. go-goes do-does wash-washes catch-catches c.以辅音字母加y的动词先变y为i, 再加es. study---studies try-tries The twins ___________(wash) the clothes every day.
