华东师范大学2006届专业硕士学位论文Abstract 华东师范大学2006届专业硕士学位论文 Abstract The research of land use|land cover change(LUCC)has become one of the frontiers of modern geography as it not only plays an important role in global environmental change，but also has an important significance in sustainable development and management in a resion．Analyzing space-time changes rules in land BSe understanding of the change COUf∞and mechanism of land use Adjusting the economic activity of human society,impelling the using of land rationally,and ketrping the peminew．e,validity ofthe national macroscopically strategic policy could guarantee sustainable utilization of land resource． Jintai District and Weibia District in moil City age of great importaace in their geographical location．Baoji，a city in northern China,is a transportation hub with rail connections to northwestern and somhwestem China．It is also one of transportation hubs along the Aria-Europe Continental Bridge，together with Zhengzhou in central China and Xuzhou in ea破Cln China．It plays a role of矾dging the east and·the west, and connecting the north and the south ofthe country in the national economic system． It is also situated at the frontier of Western Development．All these geological merRs make Baoji City develop fast．埘th a speed remaining above the national average level for 5 years．The subject fcgi∞in the paper is the suburban area,where the land use change has been significant，hence，typical in China． After three years ofresearch and exploration,with the u辩ofthe 3S technology and the employment of sateHite TM Image，the LUCC change and its driving factors ofthe subject region are analyzed，and the findings age： (1)With the USe of the 3-stages remote sensing image，and the use of the 3S technology,the land use／land cover change information of the subject region is collected．The research finds that the overall tendency and basic characteristics ofthe change are：the cultivated land decreases dramatically；garden land increases dramatically
