ABSTRACTLow—pet ABSTRACT Low—pet mcability I．eSCl‘VOlt IS all llnportant and rich natural resource In China．it has been found widely and accounts for 24 4％ofthe total known crude oil reserves．Great benefit has been obtained from the developed low— permeability oil formations，and this shows that development oflow-permeability reservoir will be a significant task in the future The oil reserve in the low—permeability sand formation in Erlian oiI field is 3820×10at and the recoverable is 904．6×10at．0il from the lOW— permeability formation accounts for 42 7 percentthe total oil product in Erlian Now,the problem of high injection—producing ratio and water injection pressure， increasing of drawdown pressure and constant decreasing of production index in the low-permeability formation comes into being．This paper’S objective is to find the caHseS by overall analysis of the formation damage and give data and advices for next development measures Firstly,the reservoir characteristic of low—permeability oil formation in the world，development mode and potential formation damage mechanism are summarized in the paper Next，research on potential fcIrmation damage mechanism in Liangnan low—permeability has been finished and we found that the potential formation damage mechanism of the fracture--pore low-·permeability formation is totally different from the single—pore one．The following formation damage mechanism has been verified by laboratory experiments Fractures and interfaces of fracture and pore are the major channels of fluid movement，and they tends to be damaged Once damaged，it is hard to eliminate．The formation has the characteristics of very strong stress sensitivity,strong water sensitivity and atkine sensivity，mediate to arong acid sensitivity and mediate to weak salt sensitivity,low velocity sensivity． The formation damage during water injection has been researched by means of analysis of the geological characteristics，injection water quality and pressure， producing d
