II II PRIMARY DISCUSSION FOR BUILDING CREATIVE CITIES BASED ON INCLUSIVE OF LOCAL IDENTIFY ABSTRACT ?The Creative City? belongs to a new research field of cultural creative industry research system. Local identity, as an important component of the field, is the foundation of the construction of the creative city. Cities are required more inclusive with the trend of globalization. Good inclusive local identity is not only helpful to the formation of creative cities but also gives cultural security to the sustainable development of creative cities. The inner link between the inclusive local identities to creative cities is analyzed in this article. Meanwhile, Nanning, a young city, is chosen as the research object of the development feasibility of creative cities, and countermeasures are taken to further promote the construction of creative cities. Firstly, the important role that inclusive local identity plays as basic elements of creative cities is expounded in this paper, and the significance of inclusive local identity plays in building creative cities is mainly discussed. Secondly, Nanning is taken as the research object, and then three dimensions that ?local identity?, ?openness and inclusiveness? and ?creative atmosphere? are generalized and refined. A questionnaire is designed to appraise degree of Nanning inclusive of local identity according to relative scale at home and abroad. And a feasibility analysis of creative cities is built on the basic of the results of evaluation. Finally, some strategy suggestions of Nanning to build creative cities are proposed according to the successful experience of Taipei to III III build creative cities based on inclusive of local identity. According to the results of this article research, the Nanning city has the prerequisite of inclusive local identity, which realize the possibilities of creating creative cities.
