The interrelationsh ip betw een the dynam ic environmental energy- field of the m icrostructure, and the change of external environm ental condition and med ium grain interlocking of clay soil are stud ied. The results are shown that the d isp lacem ent, strain and shear strain of the clay soil foundation under the dynam ic loads are larger than those under the static loads. Especially for the surface layer of the founda- tion the effects are not only b igger in range but increased in depth. The resu lts of expermi ents are also show n that the damage of in itial soil structure is increased w ith the blow count ofmorew et soil and vibrated soil, but the later stage strength of the soil is increased a little.
