Methods A total of 42 cases with PCo mA A were treated wit h GDC to e mbolize t he aneuris mal sac vi a fe moral artery approach . Early i nterventi on of he morrhage was perf or med post-operation . Results All 42 pati ents were cured , i n which 4 1cases recovered cli ni cally , 1 pati ent di ed . The mortality was 2 .4 % . The sac of 38 aneurys ms were achieved 100 % embolizati on , 3 wit h 95 % e mbolizati on , 1 wit h 90 % e mbolizati on . Aneurys ms had not repunct ured duri ng t he emboliza- tion . 1 case happened cerebral vasospas m. 1 case mi crocoil escaped . One recurri ng cases cured by second GDC emboliza- tion . The tec hni que-rel ated co mplicati ons were present i n 2 cases . No re- bl eedi ng occurred i n the 3 - 50 mont hs follo w- up . Conclusion GDC occl usi on i s a safe and effective treat ment for the PCo mA A . Advances i n t he techniques and treati ng the co mpli cati ons correctly will decrease the co
