Technology is more prevalent and can aid students in developing the skills to acquire, process, produce, and communicate information. Adaptive/assistive technology is creating opportunities for students with disabilities. * Twenty-first century skills include learning and innovation skills, information literacy skills, and life and career skills (Partnership for 21st Century Skills, 2007).
