Thomas Hardy (1840-1928) Thomas Hardy Life Story born in Dorset in 1840 he received education at local schools until he was 15 years old was articled to a local architect, at 16 Six years later he went to London to work for a famous architect. Marriage with Emma Gifford in 1874. 1928Thomas Hardy died on January 11. His body was buried in Westminster Abbey, whereas his heart was buried in Stinsford Churchyard.
