The regression equation of the alloying layer thicknesswas established. The optimum process for hot diffusion aluminizing treatment was gotten. The surface and interface morphologiesofX70 pipelinesteelafterthealuminizingtreatmentwereobserved,andFeandAlcontentchangeby the carbonitride layer were analyzed. The element diffusion mechanism of hot dipping alumetizing process was discussed. The results showthatalloyinglayerthicknessisincreasedwiththerisingof insulationtempertureandtheextendingof diffusiontime. The ideal inoulation temperature is950 益 and time is insulation6 h.
