长沙五一广场东汉简牍材质研究 On the Material of Eastern Han Bamboo Slips and Wooden Tablets from the Wuyi Square in Changsha 长沙市文物考古研究所 蒋成光 Jiang Chengguang Changsha Municipal Research Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology ， 内容提要：2010 年，长沙市文物考古研究所发掘出土了约七千枚东汉简牍，这一 发现填补了这一时期出土文献的空白，为了研究简牍的保存状况，制订科学合理的 文物保护方案，选取了多枚简牍样品，开展了含水率、干缩率、纤维素结晶度、表 面颜色检测和材质鉴定。结果表明：简牍的纤维素降解严重；含水率较高、糟朽严重； 表面氧化呈深褐色甚至黑色；木牍材质为杉木，竹简材质为刚竹。 关键词： 简牍 科学检测 材质 Abstract: In 2010, the Changsha Municipal Research Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology unearthed about 7,000 Eastern Han bamboo slips and wooden tablets, whose discovery has filled a gap in the excavated documents from this historical period. In order to study the preservation of these bamboo slips and wooden tablets so as to make scientifically feasible cultural relics conservation plans, we selected a number of slips and tablets as samples to determine their moisture content, dry shrinkage rate, cellulose crystallinity, surface color, and material. The results show serious cellulose degradation of the slips and tablets; high moisture content and serious decay; the surface oxidization appears dark brown or even black; the material of the wooden tablets is cedar and that of the bamboo slips Phyllostachys viridis.
