Study Study OU Urban Sewage Engineering Planning —-A Case Study in Xingtai City nle author：Fan Fenxia Major：Master of Engineering Supervisor：Wang Guanghe Abstract With the acceleration of urbanization，human living environment has changed dramatically．Due to the increase of industrial production and the increasing wastewater emission year by year,the wastewater significantly exceeds the carrying capacity of the natural environment,therefore it is urgent to solve this problem．If the sewage treatment is not carried OUt well，it would not only bring serious pollution to our living environment， but also it would affect the water utilization cycle，which could restrict the sustainable urbanization development．Urban sewage proj ect planning is to plan and design the urban sewage pipe network，sewage treatment facilities and sewage recycling，etc．，which iS of great guiding significance and promotes the healthy development of urban water environment．However,at present，due to the unreasonable planning，many urban sewage discharge and treatment effect is quite poor，and the effluent quality is difficult to meet the standard requirements． This paper summarized the domestic and foreign research status of sewage project planning，and presented the existing problems in the urban sewage engineering planning and proposed the countermeasures．In this paper,the main content of the planning process was analyzed，mainly depending on three aspects，such as urban water consumption prediction，the site selection of sewage treatment plant and sewage recycling．Finally, taking Xingtai City as an example，the planning theory Was applied to the actual project， and the preparation of urban sewage engineering planning was introduced particularly, especially the case analysis for the main designing points．Based on the current situation of planning drainage system in Xingtai city,in—depth investigation Oil the status of Xingtai City drainage system Was conducted through the collection of basic data，field inv
