Taking Huagou village as an example, the paper analyszes the current situation of social capital in rural community of Western China from four aspects as following: the trust ， participation in networks ，shared norms and the level of participation and cooperation. Hence the author puts forward some corresponding measures:organizing various community activities; strengthening the construction of community organizations, the construction of community systems and the construction of community media so as to provide a better environment for the social captial.
