On February 15th 2002, a team of three experts from various Chinese research institutes was organized. Dr. Jiqiang Zhang served as the team leader and was responsible for the organization of the study. He was also responsible for writing the outline and the final summary of the study. Dr. Zhongyang Luo, a Professor at Zhejiang University, was responsible for the report on industrial uses of biomass resources, focusing on gasification and power generation. Review of available information and to approve the table of contents and working schedule; July 31. Approval of the final draft. Due to limited resources, the study was conducted based on literature review andsummary, no field study or laboratory testing was conducted.
