Methods The food samples were digested by the micro- wave assisted digester under a prescribed program, then the sample solution obtained was used for the ICP-OES determination of boron content. The instrument parameters of ICP-OES determination of boron were optimized. Results A good linear relationship was detected in the concentration range of 0.100~5.000 μg/mL (r=0.9997), the formula of standard curve was Y=63.38X +38.14. The detection limit of this method was 3.54 μg/g. Conclusion The described method is fast and efficient, and can be applied for boric acid determination in various foods in the market.
