Abstract:Unstable rock is a geological disaster frequently encountered in road construction. It endangers the road operating sys-
tem due to its suddenness and unpredictability in collapse. Consequently , the treatment of unstable rocks is of primary impor-
tance.To control the unstable rock, a thorough study is needed as to the geological status of the road. s side slope and the causes
of the rock. s unst ableness. Varied designing plans are often demanded according to the t ypes of the rock.
