Unit 10 I’d like some noodles. 教学设计 Section A (1a-1c) Teaching Aims Knowledge Aims key vocabulary:noodles, beef, mutton, chicken, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots key sentences:what questions and modal verb would. 2.Ability Aims To train the students’ ability of English communication. To cultivate the consciousness of cooperation. Emotion Aims Learn to order food and have a good habit of eating. Teaching Important and difficult points: 1. The important points: Key words: noodles ,would like, beef, mutton ,chicken ,cabbage, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots 2 .The difficult points:What questions and modal verb “would”. Teaching method: Task-based method, Group-work method, Situational teaching method Teaching Procedures: Step One:Greetings Step Two:Warming-up Enjoy an English song to relax. Step Three: Lead-in T: What do you like for breakfast? S: I like milk and eggs for breakfast… Step Four:Presentation 1. Show some pictures of the food and learn the new words. 2. Practice the drills “What would you like? I’d like---.” 3. Then finish 1a. 4. Look,this is a noodle house. A big nice noodle house! There are some great specials. Learn the expressions of special noodles. 5. Practice the drills “What kind of noodles would you like? I’d like---.” Step Five: Listening Listen and check the noodles that the person orders. Step Six: Chant Do a chant to consolidate the key points we learnt in this lesson. Step Seven:Pair work Order food in a noodle house. One student acts as a waiter , others act as customers. Make their own conversations and act them out in front of the class. Step Eight :Summary Summarize the important and difficult points of this lesson. Step Nine :Homework Write a short conversation about ordering some noodles you like in a restaurant.
