Leading in: Play music and let students talk about how to have a healthy lifestyle. Ask students to talk about their ideas about healthy habits and unhealthy habits. Show Tony’s and Mary’s pictures and lead in 2b. Step 2. Listening Listen to the tape and ask students to fill in the Chart. Check the answers. Step 3 Reading Read the passage and underline the important sentences. Ask students to guess the meaning of the sentence patterns. Practice making sentences with the sentences patterns. Step 4.Exercises Do exercises. Check the answers. Read the passage. Step 5. Discussion Students talk about Tony’s and Mary’s healthy habits in groups . Students talk about Mary’s and Tony’s unhealthy habits and give them suggestions. Step 6 Oral practice Show students pictures of a student’s daily life and ask them to talk about it.
