Teaching procedures
Step1? Warming-up
Greet each other.
Step2 Lead-in
1.Talk about what we are doing now.
eg.T: It`s 8 o`clock.What are we doing ?
S: We am having an English class.I am teaching English.You are listening to me.(Help them to answer,show the Chinese meaning)
2.Read the sentences again and again.Then discuss the Present Progressive Tense:1. 定义:表示说话时正在进行的动作。2. 构成:be (am, is, are) + 动词ing形式3. 句中常有now, listen, look,等词。
Step3 Presentation
?Show some pictures of activities on the screen and present the sentence structure. T: What are youdoing?\what is she\he doing? Ask and answer in pairs and then ask pairs of students to practice the target language.
Step4 Practice 1a and 1c
1.Match?the?words?with?the?people?in?the?pictures?in?Section?A(?1a)
