What are you doing? What is he / she /it doing? What are they doing? 及其回答，并注意动词现在分词的变化规则。 2、难点：现在进行时的结构。 教学过程：（第一课时） Section A (1a–1c) Step1. Warming up and Lead-in 1.Greet Ss as usual, tell them what they are going to learn today: The Present Progressive Tense, 2.Act out some activities to lead in and teach the new words. eg. open the door. T: –What am I doing? Ss:–You are opening the door. clean the blackboard T: –What am I doing? Ss: –You are cleaning the blackboard. read a book T:- What am I doing? Ss:--You are reading a book. talk on the phone T:- What am I doing? Ss: You are talking on the phone New words: read clean talk on the phone 3. Ask students some questions. T: What are you doing? Student A: –I am listening. T: What is Student A doing? Ss: –He is listening. T: What are you doing? Student B: –I am writing. T: What is student B doing? Ss:–She is writing. 4. Show some pictures to the students to present other sentence structures: What is he / she /it doing? --He/She/It is… What are they doing?—They are… In this way to revise some names of activities. Step2 Match work (1a) (1) Show a picture with an apartment to the Ss and ask: What is this?–It’s an apartment. Teach apartment / happy.
