Step1: Lead in At the beginning of the class, I will sing a song Yesterday once more with the students to lead the main past tense --things happened yesterday. (This aims to attract students attention and spark their interests to English.) Step2: Presentation Firstly, I’ll have a free talk with the students about my yesterday, then use the pictures to lead the six phrases in the textbook-went for a walk, milked a cow, rode a horse, fed chickens, talked with a farmer, took some photos.
