初中英语人教版七年级下册unit11 第一课时教学设计
Step1: Lead in
At the beginning of the class, I will sing a song Yesterday once more with the students to lead the main past tense --things happened yesterday.
(This aims to attract students attention and spark their interests to English.)
Step2: Presentation
Firstly, I’ll have a free talk with the students about my yesterday, then use the pictures to lead the six phrases in the textbook-went for a walk, milked a cow, rode a horse, fed chickens, talked with a farmer, took some photos. Let students pay attention to the past tense and yesterday. And lead the sentence- They went for a walk yesterday.
(This part will help the students have a basic understanding of the past tense and the things we can do on the farm in today’s lesson.)
Then I’ll divide the class into 6 groups, G1 to G6. The following tasks and competitions are based on this division. The winner group will get gifts at the end of this class.
To make the students master the words, first I let students finish 1a on the textbook and design an activity: Guessing game. I will ask some students come to the front to do some actions according to the new phrases, then other students guess what it is, the fastest student who answers right can get two points for his group, the students do the actions can get one point.
(This kind of game can strenghthen the students’ ability of recognizing and reading the new words and phrases.)
Step3:Practice
I will let the students listen to 1b and circle the three things Carol did on her school trip. The student who circled right can get two points.
Then I’ll show the conversation of 1b without some blanks, then ask students to listen again and fill in the blanks. After listening and writing, ask six students to read the sentences and check the answers.
