Research Research and Design of Universal Form System Based XML and Velocity Author：Jla Lin Supervisor：Ren Li—sheng Major：Computer Technology Abstract With the background of Internet+．ths information collection and display are the crucial parts in information management system．The information collection and display depend the operation of the form which has already become the bond of the business processes and information cartier．With the development of times．the programmers need to modify the form interface and the dynamic interactive features of the original system code—level to meet the consumer demand．Therefore the maintainability and scalability need to be improved．Enterprise project needs to both the efficiency and quality．Rapid response to users is the key to of enterprise project．Enterprises need such system that quickly create forms to meet the needs of data reporting and data presentation． By comparing the related technology of the front page researching，Boostrap is chosen to build the front page of the whole common system，which support responsive layout and has rich components with itself．Light weight J2ee mature open framework Spring is used to build the process engine of the whole common system．Taking into account the good readability,defined set of model which describes the form and metadata．By studying Velocity template technology and combining CKeditor page editor，templates customization and page generation online accessible． By designing form generic system to complete custom forms in the process，the requirements of rapid response to customer demand and high efficiency of system development achieved．Core contribution ofthis paper is as follows： 1．Using Lightweight J2ee Spring open framework to design and develop form engine，and pack，exchange，forward the data from the form page，it is versatile， and improving scalabiliW of the system．A set of highly readable XML metadata has beed defined to describe the forms and lists of related attributes，it i
