第 5 期 电　　子 　　学 　　报 Vol . 31 　No . 5 　2003 年 5 月 ACTA ELECTRONICA SINICA May 　2003 　 支持变速率视频流传输的重协商优化算法 张晓瑜 ,钟玉琢 ,杨 　品 (清华大学计算机科学与技术系 ,北京 100084) 　　摘 　要 : 　针对变速率视频流在多个时间尺度上突发的性质 ,本文提出了基于多级整形和多时间尺度带宽分配与 准入的重协商优化算法. 算法通过视频源与边缘网关的重协商过程 ,对进入网络的数据流进行包络 ,提高数据流的控 制性和预测性 ,从而减少突发对网络所造成的破坏 ;并且对中小规模的数据流复合的情况 ,可以取得接近 VBR 流的复 用增益. 关键词 : 　多时间尺度 ; 流量控制 ; 重协商 中图分类号 : 　TP393 　　　文献标识码 : 　A 　　　文章编号 : (2003) The Optimiz e d Algorithm Charact erizing Rene gotiation for VBR Video Flow s ZHAN G Xiaoyu ;ZHON G Yuzhuo ; YAN G Pin ( Dep artment of Comp uter Science and Technology , Tsinghua University , Beij ing 100084 , China) Ab stract : 　Aiming at the devastating multipletimescale burstiness of VBR (Variable Bit Rate) video flows ,an optimized algo rithm characterizing renegotiation which is based on multilevel regulator and multipletimescale bandwidth allocation and flow admis sion is presented. Through the renegotiation between video source and edge node of the network ,video flows are properly enveloped be fore entering the network . The proposed algorithm enhances the capability of control and prediction on video flows ,which significantly attenuates the impact caused by burstiness on network . For small and moderate aggregated flows ,it could attain a multiplexing gain ap proximating the gain of unrestricted VBR flows.
