PAGE PAGE IV Abstract Smart Home aims at building an integrative home information service and managing system with computer technology, wireless network technology and electric technology,in order to improve the environment of inhabitancy. Smart Home System has been accepted widely for wiring simple,versatile,extended flexible.Zigbee was born in time that faces to low-cost bidirectional communication technology of wireless network.It has many advantages such as low power,high reliability and big network capability. Compared with the variety of wireless network communication technology,This paper designs the Smart Home System based on embedded web server and Zigbee wireless sensor network technology.Firstly,this paper briefly introduces overall design scheme,system functions and design details.Zigbee wireless sensor network is the core of the System,which is main for data acquisition and processing,consists of coordinator node and end device node.According to the function requirement for the system,this paper utilize AT86RF230, radio frequency chip, and microcontroller atmega1281 to design one coordinator node and four end device nodes,such as Pyroelectric Infrared Radial end node base on D203S,carbon monoxide detector end node with th sensor of GS-A1 and temperature-humidity node which can detect the home temperature and humidity and is based on the digital Sensor of SHT10.The major tasks the Zibgee coordinator node are create, manage the wireless network and exchange datas with child node, then communicate with the embedded web server through the serial port.Secondly,this paper designs and tests programs of Zigbee coordinator node and end sensor child nodes.For the information exchanging,this paper establishes a serial communications protocol and the data transmission format between the coordinator node and web server.Thirdly,the paper successfully transplants Boa web server to the ARM Linux platform,designes interactive -controlling interface and writes t
