T he chrom a tog raph c propert es o f the co lumn are stud ed, nclud ng the sepa ra t on pow er, the co lumn e ff c ency, the therm a l stab l ty, the m easurement repeatab l ty, the po lar ty o f the sta t ona ry phase and the symm etry of the peaks. In f g. 1~ 4 n ce sepa rat on o f va r ou s com pounds on th s co lumn s show ed. The column has good eff c ency and the theo ret cal p late number s 2 900 /m. It can stand h gh temperature and can be used at temper- ature o f 250 that s much h ghe r than the allow ed max m um temperature o f 120 for the comm erc a l co lumn pre- pared by trad t onal m ethod w th the sam e stat onary phase.
