Contact nonlinear structural optimization technology research and its application on the crankshaft and the crankshaft bearing
Abstract
Contact problem has been a hot and difficult problems in the field of engineering, and the optimization problems about contact nonlinear structure has also been has concern. In the paper the basic concepts, content and characteristics of contact nonlinear structural optimization were studied, integrated design optimization for contact nonlinear structure conduct in-depth research, and integrated optimization technique is used in the crankshaft and the crankshaft bearing assembly structure of a gasoline engine.
In this paper multidisciplinary optimization software Isight will be used as integrated optimization platform to develop Isight, SolidWorks and ANSYS integration fast optimization design platform, and this platform will be used in the Structural optimization of the crankshaft and the crankshaft bearing assembly structure. Contact nonlinear structure (assembly structure) simulation optimization process include the establishment of the model, finite element analysis and the establishment of the optimization mathematical model. In this paper we will use SolidWorks software to build three-dimensional solid model of the crankshaft and the crankshaft bearing assembly structure and extract parameters in this mode, these parameters will be used as the design variables and objective function of the optimization design. Three-dimensional solid models of the assembly created in SolidWorks software output an intermediate format *.x_t file for ANSYS finite element analysis. Using MPC contact technology of ANSYS build finite element model of crankshaft and the crankshaft bearing nonlinear structure and carry on finite element analysis of static and modal analysis.
