China Environmental Science, 2003,23(4)： 349~352 Abstract：The primary results of studies on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in urban atmosphere of Lhasa City and in soil of Lharu wetland are introduced. Airborne PAHs in particulate phase occupied the contribution of 27.69%; and gas phase state PAHs occupied 72.31% ; the content of PAHs no matter existing in particulate phase or gas phase state was all higher at night than at day because of the strong ultraviolet radiation in the plateau. There was mainly the PAHs possessing more than 3 benzene rings in particulate ; while PAHs of gas phase state concentrated in the PAHs and pyrene of 2 or 3 benzene rings . The PAHs in wetland soil came mainly from atmosphere, in which the PAHs existed as gas phase state contributed 52.56% and PAHs as particulate phase contribute
