Abstract ：The inaccuracies of timing acquisition degrade the performance of Distributed Antenna Systems （DAS ）. To improve the probability of correct acquisition, a cooperation verification method of distributed antennas is proposed. In the flat Rayleigh channels of linear cell, two distributed receive antennas are considered. By utilizing the prior information of the time-delays difference, a constraint of cooperation verification is firstly exploited. Then, the timing acquisition, which is based on the method of threshold detection, is performed at each distributed antenna. For eliminating the part of acquisition error, the cooperation verification and the post-processing of cooperation verification is pursued. By the analysis and simulations, it is shown that the probability of correct acquisition for each distributed antenna can be improved accord- ing to the proposed method.
