Correspondent: GUO Zhe, E-mail: guozhe @ ise. neu. edu. cn) Abstract: Considering the unreasonable factors in con entional pricing business process, such as low le el of information rate and automation and poor network, each and e ery step in the whole process of con entional pricing business w as analyzed quantitati ely by a method based on process algebra. Then the con entional process w as reengineered in combination w ith the characteristics of pricing business process in electronic commerce circumstances, and the results of the tw o different processes w ere e aluated comparati ely. E aluation results show ed that the pricing business process after reengineering can reduce the workload and mistakes, and quicken its response to rele ant enterprises in electronic commerce.
