It has lipophilic and bioaccumulation characteristics and can also produce physiological toxicity to organism even at low concentration. The paper introduces the main source and distri- bution in environment of BDE-47. The toxicity effects and mechanism of BDE-47 are illustrated from several aspects toxicity of reproductive, developmental, thyroid, neurotoxicity and immune.
