Teaching Procedure; Step1:Warm-up and Lead-in Before the class, the teacher can prepare some pictures about different clothes. At first, the teacher and students greet with each other. Then, the teacher asks students some questions.(The students answer the questions in Chinese) —Boys and girls! What clothes do you wear today? —外套! —裙子! —裤子! ...... After it, the teacher writes down the Chinese words on the blackboard. Later, the teacher takes out the pictures and sticks the pictures on the blackboard with the corresponding Chinese words. —Do you want to know how to express the Chinese words in English? —Yes! ;At this time, the teacher can write down the corresponding English words beside the Chinese words and pictures. (In this step, the students can be interested in the topic by asking their own clothes. The atmosphere of class will be active and it is useful for the next teaching step.);what are they ?;Step2: Controlled practice Teacher teaches students how to read these words for several times.
