Talking About Your Future Life --Unit7 Writing 3a-3c 上虞区丰惠镇中学 朱丽娜 【教材分析】这是八年级上册的一节以读促写课,短文以“what will your life be like in the future?”为主线,描述了Jill 20年以后的生活,内容贴近学生日常生活和学习实际,能够激起学生对自己的未来生活进行大胆预测与畅想。同时,这篇短文从写作内容、篇章处理及写作句型上来讲都是一篇绝佳的写作例文,是培养学生阅读与简单的仿写能力的最好材料,所以后面的写作也自然水到渠成了。 【学情分析】学生在前面学习的基础上,对本单元的话题已有所了解,相关的语言知识也有了一定的基础。但对综合能力要求比较高的短文的选词填空,学生还有一定的困难。尤其是在理解与分析篇章的基础上要仿写出一片好文章,难度更大。因此,在学生阅读时,要引导学生仔细阅读,站在篇章的角度理解文章,分析文章,理清文章的写作思路,从而为学生的写作做好铺垫。 Teaching aims: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: * to consolidate the usage of “I’ll be/do…”, “There will be …”, “more, less, fewer” , “I think I’ll…because…”, “I think there will be…because…”by reading the text about life in 20 years; * learn the structure of writing an essay after reading; * write a well-organized essay modeled on the text. Teaching procedures: Step I Greeting and reading T: Hello,boys and girls.We are talking about “what will your life be like in the future?”in Unit7. This is my friend, Jill. And this passage is her answer to the question.(show Jill’s photo and 3a) Read Jill’s answers to the question “What will your life be like in the future?” Fill in the blanks with the words in box. Before doing it, I have some learning guide and tips for you. Read by yourself. Learning guide(学习指导): 1.独立自主完成3a课文填空; 2.同桌合作,核对答案; 3.同桌讨论课文包含内容并找出重点词组。 Tips(小提示): 1.阅读文章,整体把握短文大意,了解主题并阅读备选单词,明白单词意思; 2.分析有空格的每个句子,根据句意及上下文意思来判断每个空格应填的词; 3.再读短文,看是否通顺合理。 Students finish 3a within 3 minutes.
