Learning Goals
1、To learn the new words and phrases (homework/hardly/go to the movies...)
2、To learn how to ask about their living habits by using the adverbs of frequency
What do you do on weekends? I usually/often/never/... go to the movies.
Do you go shopping? I never go shopping.
How often do you exercise? Every day.
3、To learn to use the target language
Teaching key points:
Students can use the vocabulary;
Students can understand the difference an the usage of the adverbs of frequency;
Students can talk about their living habits;

(The teacher tell the students what she did on her weekend )
T:Did you have a good weekend? And what did you do on weekends?
S1:Yes. I went shopping.
S2:No. I did my homework all the weekend.
T: How many times do you go shopping on weekends?
S1: One/Two...
T: So that means you usually go shopping on weekends。
Step4 Presentation (1b) (Learning the adverbs of frequency)
Match the right adverbs of frequency
Try to make up some sentences by using the adverbs of frequency
Step5 Listening (1b) (Learning some listening skills)
Before-listening
Learn more about frequency words and know the differences between them.
Learn the listening skills
While-listening
1) Students listen to 1b and write the activities quickly.
2) Students listen again and fill in the blanks with frequency words.
Post-listening
Students practice the conversation in 1b and make their own conversations.
Step6 Group work (My Report)
Ask some groups to do a report about their activities on weekends with frequency words.
E.g. I usually go shopping on weekends, but I never exercise. Lucy often goes to the movies...
